Horrifying Fire At Popular Ski Resort Leaves 66 DEAD With Dozens Injured

Tragic reports are speaking about a fire that broke out at a popular ski resort in northwestern Turkey.

The death toll for the incident has risen to 66 with many left with no option but to jump out of the windows in a bid to save themselves.

The blaze reportedly broke out overnight at the resort’s leading restaurant in the Bolu province, the country’s interior ministry shared.

As per reports from Turkish media outlets, the fire began on the fourth floor of the mega 11-storey hotel at about 3:30 am.

Shocking and harrowing footage showed the top floors as well as the hotel’s roof being engulfed in flames while some guests tried to climb down from their rooms using sheets to escape from that massive blaze.

Another interview after the incident has one witness speaking about how the flames suddenly appeared and people began jumping from the 11th floor in an absolute panic.

Another witness shared devastating and heartbreaking scenes where a father kept yelling and crying about his one-year-old child left inside. ‘I will have to throw my child or else he will burn to death!’- the dad screamed in tears.

So far, the death toll stands at 66 with 51 injured with many fearing it will rise more.
