Three wildfires have broken out in quick succession overnight and into the early hours of Tuesday in northern San Diego County, California.
The news arrives amid another wave of winds from Santa Ana that resulted in Extreme Fire Weather Warnings issued on Monday.
The Lilac Fire resulted in a massive blaze in the northern part of San Diego Couty and that resulted in so many locals issuing evacuation orders for those located south of Pala Mesa and towards the west of Interstate 15.
The fire began at about 1:30 am last night and officials now fear that many buildings are threatened by the massive flames.
The fire has expanded to include 30 acres with a speed that’s moderate as per the officials at the CAL FIRE.
A few miles north, we can confirm that the Pala Fire broke out one hour after the Lilac Fire. It’s currently burning west of the I-15 in Pala Mesa.
Meanwhile, plenty of evacuation orders were issued in this region too as the Pala Fires are also 30 acres and so far, the California Fire Department has confirmed no containment of either blaze. Meanwhile, a third fire broke out in Fallbrook and was given the name of Riverview Fire.
