Donald Trump has reportedly declined an invitation to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s highly anticipated wedding.
The Amazon founder is set to tie the knot with Sanchez tomorrow (June 28) in Venice, Italy. However, the celebration is already well underway, with festivities believed to span five days.
Despite the glamorous setting, the couple has faced challenges leading up to the big day. Due to protests against Bezos, they were forced to relocate the ceremony. A local activist group called No Space for Bezos has been voicing opposition to the event, criticizing its impact on a city already struggling with overtourism.
While the venue may have changed, the wedding is still moving forward—drawing celebrities from around the world to Europe. But Trump, despite being on the guest list, won’t be among them.

From Kim Kardashian and Orlando Bloom, to Tom Brady and Leonardo DiCaprio, dozens of famous faces have been spotted in Venice.
One person who won’t be there though is President Donald Trump, despite him reportedly being invited.
White House officials have confirmed that Trump was indeed on the guest list, but he had to decline the invite as a result of scheduling conflicts, says The Telegraph.

The invite that all these celebrities will have been sent ahead of the wedding was recently leaked online, and it left everyone saying the same thing.
The invite read: “We are excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts.
“Instead, we’re making contributions in your honor and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice.
“Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard this city’s irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the vital lagoon habitats that protect Venice’s future, and to Venice International University to support research and education for sustainable solutions.
“This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Our hope is that through these efforts and by joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come.”

But it wasn’t the invite’s sentiments that people took issue with, but its design.
“This invite was proudly sponsored by Microsoft Paint and zero adult supervision,” someone quipped online.
“Money can’t buy taste. That invite was made on the canva app in the 11 minute trip to ‘space’,” said a second.
