Donald Trump has spoken out on ‘strange’ Greta Thunberg’s boat being seized by the Israeli military.
Thunberg and a handful of other activists were on their way to Gaza with aid when Israeli forces seized the vessel named the Madleen they were on.
The 22-year-old made a pre-recorded video in the instance that she was ‘kidnapped’. In it, she said: “If you see this video, we have been intercepted and kidnapped in international waters by the Israeli occupational forces — or forces that support Israel.
“I urge all my friends, family and comrades to put pressure on the Swedish government to release me and the others as soon as possible.”
In an update issued yesterday, the Israel Foreign Ministry confirmed that their sized ship — which they branded as the ‘Selfie Yacht’ — had docked at Ashdod Port.
Thunberg and the other activists were then taken to Gurion Airport to board flights back to their respective home countries.

“Some of the ‘Selfie Yacht’ passengers are expected to leave within the next few hours,” the update went on to say.
“Those who refuse to sign deportation documents and leave Israel will be brought before a judicial authority, in accordance with Israeli law, to authorize their deportation. Consuls from the passengers’ home countries met them at the airport.”
A picture shared on Israel Foreign Ministry’s Twitter today (June 10) showed Thunberg on her flight back to Sweden.
“Greta Thunberg just departed Israel on a flight to Sweden (via France),” the government body said alongside the snaps.
Following the incident, Donald Trump was asked his thoughts on the matter.
“She’s a strange a person,” said the POTUS. “She’s a young, angry person. I don’t know if it’s real anger; it’s hard to believe, actually.”
“I saw what happened,” Trump went on. “She’s certainly different. Anger management. I think she has got to go to anger management class. That’s my primary recommendation for her.”
He also dismissed her kidnapping claims, adding (via Reuters): “I think Israel has enough problems without kidnapping Greta Thunberg.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has made such remarks about Thunberg.

In 2019, the young activist was named Time’s Person of the Year — something which Trump wasn’t happy about.
He said at the time: “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”
Thunberg proceeded to mock Trump for his remarks by changing her Twitter bio to read: “A teenager working on her anger management problem.
“Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”
