U.S. Vice President JD Vance and his three-year-old daughter were confronted by pro-Ukraine protesters while out for a walk in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Footage of the incident shows protesters approaching Vance, reportedly upset over his recent post on X. The situation escalated into chaos, causing distress for his young daughter.
Despite the tense encounter, Vance paused to listen to the demonstrators, later describing their remarks as largely peaceful, though not positive.
This marks the second time in recent months that the Vice President has been targeted by activists. Previously, he and his family were forced into hiding after facing a mob protesting his stance on Ukraine and his treatment of President Volodymyr Zelensky during an Oval Office meeting.
Vance later took to X to express his frustration, stating, “Anyone chasing down a three-year-old is a ‘shit person.’ There’s a time and place for politics—this wasn’t it.”
