US Navy ‘Super Hornet’ Worth $100 Million CRASHES Into San Diego Bay

Devastating reports are speaking about a US Navy aircraft that went down and two pilots were left with no choice but to emergency eject over San Diego.

The incident marks another serious one that has arisen in the world of US aviation in recent times.

The aircraft was said to be a part of the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet which is deemed to be one of the most powerful aircraft in the American military arsenal. This crash-landed on Wednesday in San Diego Bay near Shelter Island.

The cause of the crash is yet to be clear or published. However, earlier reports mentioned that it was believed to be flying in rough weather off the West Coast when it fell down into the skies.

Emergency crews were seen rushing to the scene at about 10:15 am local time as per the San Diego Fire and Rescue teams.

Military officials mentioned how two pilots were on board and successfully ejected before the plane went down.

Both were rushed to the UC San Diego Medical Center in unknown condition after being rescued from the waters.

The plane crashed near the Bay in close proximity to the Kona Kai San Diego Resort and several other businesses present against the shoreline.
