Donald Trump is all set to be inaugurated on Monday and will take the oath of office during that time to kickstart his second term in the White House.
This will mark his official transfer of power to rule the country from his predecessor President Biden and the executive branch of the Biden Administration.
The ceremonies of the new president-elect and vice president-elect are planned by the Joint Congressional Committee this year that was led by Senator Amy Klobuchar.
Trump was seen flying with his wife and son Barron from Mar-a-Lago to DC where he hosted a private event. The events included in the schedule are listed below.
The procession to the Capitol will take place, followed by the VP’s swearing-in ceremony. The President’s swearing-in ceremony will arise after that. The Inaugural address and honorary departure of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will then ensue.
The signing ceremony will then take place where Trump will sit down and sign nominations, memorandums, proclamations, and any executive orders.
There will be an inaugural luncheon after that and then a pass-in review event where the President and his VP review military troops before leading the parade down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.
This year’s theme is Our Enduring Democracy: A Constitutional Promise.
