Tel Aviv was seen erupting in immense celebration after Hamas just released the first three hostages from Israel as the breakthrough ceasefire deal came into play.
Many were uncertain if the deal would ever come into play as Israel’s PM warned that there was a delay due to Hamas not releasing the names of the hostages beforehand.
But it seems like things are going as planned before the Trump inauguration which is all set to take center stage tomorrow in the morning.
Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, and Doron Steinbrecher were the first three handed over to the Israeli Defense Forces by the Red Cross on Sunday after being held 471 days in captivity.
Before that, Hamas terrorists transferred the women to the aid group’s trucks during a moment of absolute chaos in Gaza.
Many loved ones, citizens, and soldiers were seen breaking down in tears of joy as it was unbelievable to many that they would still be alive after so many days.
The news was thrilling and overwhelming for both sides as emotions ran high and many anticipated the return of more hostages as planned.
This also brings more hope of lasting peace in the war-torn region.
