Elon Musk isn’t holding back when it comes to his criticism of Donald Trump.
Once seen as close allies—some might even say they shared a political bromance—Musk and Trump have now had a dramatic falling out.
The SpaceX founder recently resigned from his position as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and the relationship between the two has rapidly deteriorated since.
From drawing connections between Trump and the still-partially unsealed Jeffrey Epstein files, to seemingly calling for the president’s impeachment, Musk’s public tirade shows no signs of slowing down. Here’s everything he’s said about the president so far.
Impeachment

In one tweet, Musk seemed to be in agreement with another Twitter user that Trump should be impeached and his vice president, JD Vance, take over as POTUS.
The person in question posted: “President vs Elon. Who wins? My money’s on Elon. Trump should be impeached and JD Vance should replace him.”
Musk proceeded to reshare the tweet and wrote ‘yes’ alongside it.
Possible recession
Those who were more pro-Musk than pro-Trump are now asking if they can criticise the President’s extremely unpopular tariff hikes in the wake of Musk’s departure from the administration.
Someone asked: “Can i finally say that trump’s tariffs are super stupid.”
Musk proceeded to respond to the tweet saying: “The Trump tariffs will cause a recession in the second half of this year.”
Epstein files

In arguably the biggest bombshell shared by Musk, the Tesla CEO alleged that the president is in some of the Jeffrey Epstein files and that this is the reason why not all of them have been made public.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,” said Musk. “That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
He added: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
However, Musk provided no evidence to support his claim, and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has since dismissed the accusations, calling it an ‘unfortunate episode from Elon’.
Dragon spacecraft

After Trump announced that he was cancelling contracts that Musk had with the government, the SpaceX founder threatened to decommission the Dragon spacecraft, which was the same shuttle that had safely brought Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams home after their unexpectedly long stay at the International Space Station.
Trump penned on Truth Social: “The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”
Taking to Twitter, Musk clapped back with: “In light of the President’s statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately.”
However, he has since seemingly retracted this threat in a reply to someone on Twitter, telling them that ‘we won’t decommission Dragon’.
Calling Trump a ‘liar’

Addressing Musk’s exit from DOGE, Trump alleged that the tech billionaire was ‘wearing thin’ and asked him to step down as a result.
Trump added, per Truth Social: “I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!”
Musk proceeded to brand this as an ‘obvious lie’ and described Trump’s comments as ‘so sad’.
