Second Victim Describes Brutal Ordeal of Rape, Torture, and Degradation

A second victim has come forward with harrowing details of her rape and torture at the hands of truck driver Karel N., 40, in the Czech Republic. In 2021, the 22-year-old woman was brutally assaulted in the cellar of a house in the village of Kryry, Louny. According to her account, Karel N. raped and severely beaten her, and even pierced her nipples with an unknown implement.

The attacker allegedly forced her to wear a dog mask and, while chaining her in a humiliating position, administered electric shocks via a shock collar. “When I screamed, he stuffed a washcloth in my mouth. I had an electric collar on my neck, and he was beating me. He also pierced my nipples, with what, I don’t know exactly,” the victim recalled. At times, when she did not comply, he punished her with further electric shocks, forcing her to bark and even eat from a bowl.

The 22-year-old woman said that she was raped, brutally beaten and had her nipples forcibly pierced by truck driver Karel N. (pictured), 40, in the cellar of a house in the village Kryry, Louny, in the northwest of the Czech Republic in 2021

This account comes just days after a 27-year-old woman was rescued on February 16 after enduring three months of captivity. Held in squalid conditions in a basement in the village of Sirem, she was similarly abused—chained up, raped, and forced to drink and eat from a dog bowl. Neighbors reported that during her escape at around 3 a.m., she was found battered, with severe bruising and visible signs of prolonged torture. One local resident described her as “just skin and bones,” with a heavy chain and lock still around her neck.

The 22-year-old victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, also revealed that she had once engaged in consensual relations with Karel N. before a work meeting turned into a nightmare. After being offered a hostess job, she attended a meeting at his house, where she was given a drink that made her feel unwell. When she attempted to leave, he allegedly attacked her—forcing on the dog mask, binding her with chains, and subjecting her to unspeakable abuse. A female acquaintance reportedly witnessed the assault and even assisted Karel N. in his torture.

Both cases have drawn grim comparisons to the notorious Josef Fritzl case in Austria. Shocked by the revelation that Karel N. had abused another woman, the first victim expressed her disbelief: “I couldn’t believe he did this to someone else. It’s just terrible.”

Karel N. was previously sentenced in April 2022 to three years in prison for the rape and unlawful detention of the 22-year-old victim, but he was released on probation in July 2022 following an appeal—despite promising never to repeat such acts. Now, facing fresh charges for the prolonged abduction and abuse of a second victim, he has been rearrested and remains in custody as a flight risk due to his frequent travel abroad.

Neighbors have described him as a seemingly sociable individual whose job often kept him away. However, one former partner revealed that he engaged in extreme BDSM practices, noting, “He talked about locking a woman in a basement and going there to torture her. I had no idea he would actually do it.”

If convicted of the recent charges, Karel N. could face up to 12 years in prison. Authorities continue to investigate these disturbing cases as the legal process unfolds.
