Though it’s unclear what Bieber was smoking, he was seen exhaling a thick cloud of smoke while seated in the restaurant’s outdoor area, a longtime favorite among celebrities seeking a laid-back atmosphere.
Hailey Bieber Absent from the Outing
Noticeably absent from the late-night meet-up was Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber.
Speculation about the couple’s marriage has intensified in recent months, with sources telling DailyMail.com that Justin has been acting like a “loose cannon” and displaying “unacceptable” behavior.
For the night out, Justin dressed casually in a dark green zip-up hoodie, oversized blue jeans, and tan suede shoes with a diamond pattern. He topped off the look with a green-and-white striped toque, rolled up at an angle to resemble the brim of a knit trilby hat. His usual unkempt facial hair was noticeably trimmed down to a mustache and light stubble.
Chappelle also kept it casual in a plaid jacket as he chatted with Bieber. Neither appeared particularly upbeat, with Justin maintaining a serious expression except for the moments when he exhaled smoke.
A Longstanding Friendship
Justin and Dave have been friends for years, previously making headlines in 2021 when they traveled to Minneapolis for screenings of Dave Chappelle: Live in Real Life, a documentary directed by acclaimed filmmakers Steve Bognar and Julia Reichert.
During that trip, the duo surprised fans by visiting a local Vietnamese restaurant. Later, Chappelle hosted a special event featuring a screening of the documentary and a stand-up session, which concluded with an impromptu four-song mini-set from Justin. The audience was in for another shock when Usher joined Bieber onstage for additional performances.

Justin’s night out came just hours before he had a tense exchange with a paparazzo while heading to breakfast with Hailey on Saturday morning.
A source recently told DailyMail.com that while Hailey “works all the time,” Justin spends his days “chilling with friends” or staying home with their baby son.
